Connect the dots

I am was writing Chapter 2 of my thesis for my final year project. That's the Literature Review section. So I have all these ideas in my head and I'm trying to link all of them and present them with a nice flow like all the essays I've ever done before. It's tough.

Let's just say there's connect the dots...

and then there's connect the dots...

Not to mention the crazy directions that comes with it here.

Salsas @ Upper Penang Road ... Again

Dropped by at Salsas again last weekend with Adrian. Initially we thought of trying out another restaurant but gosh we can't get enough of Salsas! The food is really good. Sure enough, we had no regrets of the last minute change in plans. The last time we were there, we had sets K and L. With sets up to the letter Z, I can imagine us visiting Salsas again and again...hehe..

Vege soup...spring onions? asparagus??? [Edit: It's pumpkin!]

Each set comes with starters, main course, dessert and drinks. For starters, you may choose between salad or soup. As for drinks, fruit juice of the day, iced lemon tea or coffee/tea. Again, the two of us went for the soup. Although we had no idea what was in that soup, it was absolutely delicious. I wanted seconds!

Pasta served with cream sauce and lots of seafood (RM 18++)

My yummy pasta left me totally bloated and craving for more seafood....*slurps*

Mushroom risotto with grilled chicken and asparagus (RM 23++)

We never had risotto before...only watched it being cooked on Hell's Kitchen. So Adrian decided to give it a try. The chicken was succulent...believe me it was good cause I'm a chicken-breast hater :P As for the risotto, it was plain and you can play spot the mushrooms (very difficult level)...I don't know if risottos taste like that (it's my first time afterall) but it didn't blow me away.

Dessert platter

The dessert didn't disappoint usual (although the cake tasted nicer last time). The fruit cocktail was really nice. Can't wait to go there again!

That's all for this post...don't really have the time to blog lately...have a nice day :)
